Think & Drink: Anthropology

Be a social hominid and explore the field of anthropology at November's #ThinkandDrink! Meet Curator of Physical Anthropology and globally renowned paleoanthropologist Dr. Yohannes Haile-Selassie and discover more about the Museum's Human Origins Gallery. See real specimens from the Museum's Hamann-Todd Human Skeletal Collection, the world’s largest documented collection of modern human skeletal remains. Explore bone pathology and see if you can distinguish between primate and human bones. Learn about the Museum's casting program and talk with technician David Chapman, who makes research-quality casts of specimens. Weather permitting, take a look through the Museum's telescope in Ralph Mueller Observatory starting at 8:30pm.
