Hark! A Yuletide favorite has gotten the bourbon barrel treatment to make this holiday season extra jolly. Barrel Aged Christmas Ale is coming down the chimney and will be released in 22 oz. bottles exclusively at the GLBC Gift Shop on Wednesday, November 21.

Aged in bourbon barrels for over 8 months, our beloved Christmas Ale is now as naughty as it is nice. Holiday spices and sweet honey are wrapped up with notes of wood and vanilla, adding depth that’ll keep you a-wassailin’ all season long. Do not open until Christmas? Well, maybe, but this brew will bring good tidings fresh from the bottle or after some time in the cellar.

THE BOTTLE:
Barrel Aged Christmas Ale will be presented in a beautiful screen-printed 22 oz. bottle.
Limited quantities available at the GLBC Gift Shop.

THE BEER:
Flavor: A holiday ale brewed with cinnamon, ginger, and honey, aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels.
ABV: 7.5%
IBU: 30
Pairs with: Roast duck, spiced desserts, and ugly Christmas sweaters.

THE RELEASE:
Date: Wednesday, November 21, 2018
Time: Gift Shop opens at 10:00AM. Bar opens at 10:00AM. Kitchen opens at 10:30AM.
Bottle cost: $17.95
Bottle limit: 6 bottles per customer.
Barrel Aged Christmas Ale will be on tap in the Brewpub (sorry, no growler or crowler fills).

Distribution: Barrel Aged Christmas Ale will be distributed to select markets throughout the entire GLBC distribution footprint as a draft-only release. Keep an eye out on our Regional Events page for special tappings and events!
