Nela Park - There's Still Time!

This year’s holiday lighting display, in its 94th year, includes more than 500,000 LED lights and a dozen “Seasons Greetings” vignettes along Noble Road outside the Nela Park campus.

Lights go on the evening of November 30 and will remain lit 24 hours a day through January 2, visible from Noble Rd. only.

A few highlights for our 2018 display include:

Marvel at your favorite holiday messages written in lights— from a jolly airplane pulling a festive banner to a sweet reflection in a fountain display to a scene of children exchanging holiday greetings.

View a replica of the National Tree. For the 56th year, GE Lighting has designed and provided the lights for the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. – all done with materials that allow consumers to recreate the look at home.

More than a half a million LED holiday lights are used throughout the holiday scenes. The LED lights last 10 times longer than traditional Christmas lights and save approximately 80% in energy costs, allowing us to bring joy to the community the entire season by keeping the lights always illuminated.

Note: We were thrilled to elicit nostalgia as part of last year’s drive-thru replica displays. We were overwhelmed with the response! This year we’ll be illuminating the Noble Rd. area outside our buildings only. We receive great feedback on the Noble Rd. displays every year, and we have another great display planned for this season.
